Patients and doctors alike look to Dr. Robert Deitch for help with the most complicated clinical cases involving corneal and external ocular disease. Dr. Deitch accepts physician referrals and patient inquiries throughout the midwest. He is also on the Cyber-Sight Advisory Board for ORBIS International which allows him to share his expertise worldwide.
Prior to joining the Midwest Eye Institute in 1995, Dr. Robert Deitch was Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Indiana University where he taught surgical and medical management of corneal diseases. Dr. Deitch was concurrently the Chief of Ophthalmology at the Veterans' Administration Hospital.

Stephen M. Johnson, M.D. has dedicated his career to corneal surgery and the restoration of vision.
After graduating from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Johnson served his internship and was in Ophthalmology residency at the Indiana University Medical Center. He was board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1981. Dr. Johnson was a fellow in Corneal Surgery and Diseases at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Since 1983, he has been in private practice at Midwest Eye Institute.

Dr. Jennifer Nottage joins Midwest Cornea Associates bringing impeccable credentials as a full-service cornea/external disease/refractive subspecialist.
Dr. Nottage completed a combined 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Medicine. She completed her ophthalmology residency training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, where she served as co-chief resident, and then continued her training at the prestigious Wills Eye Institute in Philadelphia completing a fellowship in cornea/external disease and refractive surgery. She comes to us with eight years of practice experience.
